Tennille has been acting professionally for over a decade and splits her time between Toronto and Los Angeles, and/or any other warm place with palm trees, during the winter months. She’s half Trinidadian after all.

Tennille played Bianca on the hit tv show Workin’ Moms for seasons 2-5. It streams on CBC Gem in Canada, and Netflix around the world. You can also catch her as a series regular in season one of SurrealEstate which streams on Syfy, Hulu and Crave. Watch the trailer here.

Upcoming film and tv shows include The Invisibles starring Tim Blake Nelson and Gretchen Mol (directed by Andrew Currie), Law and Order Toronto: Criminal Intent ( CityTV) and Murdoch Mysteries (CBC). Hitting the festival circuit in 2024 is a short film she co-starred in with Samba Schutte called I Keep Bumping Into Candy Maldonado.

Always game to shapeshift into different roles, Tennille’s past work includes a variety of characters and genres with shows like Schitt’s Creek, Good Witch, CondorBajillionaires, Hudson & Rex, Heroes Reborn and Shadowhunters.

A notable film she got to play in was Atom Egoyan’s feature Guest of Honour where she acted opposite David Thewlis. The film’s debut screening was at the 2019 Toronto International Film Festival.

She was awarded Best Supporting Actor in the Hollywood North Film Awards for her work on the short film I Lost My Mind directed by Michael Tobin.

She has also recorded an audiobook for the heartbreaking novel Tell It To The Trees by Anita Rau Badami, as well as voiced for commercials, video games and documentaries. Tennille has done many commercials that have aired across Canada and Internationally,

When not performing, she keeps busy by painting, teaching Pilates and snuggling with her Boston Terrier Barrington who truly is an angel among us.
